Literary Lunch: Art and Poetry with Dick Rauh and Westport's Poet Laureate
Join artist, botanist, and poet Dick Rauh and Westport's Poet Laureate Jessie McEntee for a Literary Lunch on February 2 at 12 pm (noon). Bring your own meal or take advantage of the Library Cafe's offerings at a 10% discount.

Dick will speak about his Botanical Retrospective currently mounted in the Sheffer Gallery (ends Feb. 28) and read some of his poems inspired by pieces on the walls. He and Jessie will then offer related writing prompts. As time allows, Jessie will present a few favorite nature-based poems followed by prompts. This hour-long generative workshop will be both fun and casual. Bring a notebook and a pen or a laptop.
Jessie is the author of Jackie O. Suffers Two Husbands and Other Poems (Finishing Line Press, 2019). A former editor at Wiley, she teaches fiction at Westport Writers' Workshop and works in communications and marketing at Pequot Library.
