Pack a lunch or purchase food from the Library's Cafe (enjoy a 10% discount with your registration) and join us for an exercise in generating Ekphrastic Poetry (written in response to artwork) with Westport's Poet Laureate Jessie McEntee. We'll use striking photographs taken by Stephen Wilkes as inspiration. Wilkes’ photographs are now on view in the Library’s galleries in an exhibit entitled Visualizing Time.
The program will take place in the Sheffer Gallery. If time allows, participants can read their work aloud for encouragement and feedback. Bring a notebook and a pen or a laptop.
Register early; space is limited to 10 participants. REGISTER HERE
