In conjunction with our presenting partner ADL Connecticut and event partners Temple Israel, TCS, Chabad of Westport, the Fairfield Jewish Advocacy Coalition, the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County, Beth El Norwalk, and Temple Shalom Norwalk, please join us for a screening of the documentary film October 8, followed by a talkback with the production team and a Q&A.
October 8 offers a look at the explosion of antisemitism on college campuses, social media, and in the streets of America beginning the day after the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. Through meticulous investigation, the film also uncovers how, over decades, Hamas created sophisticated networks in America to permeate U.S. institutions and examines the tsunami of online antisemitism, propaganda, and disinformation unleashed by Iran, China, and Russia — with the sole purpose of dividing American society.
In addition, the Library is partnering with Temple Israel, TCS, Chabad of Westport, the Fairfield Jewish Advocacy Coalition, the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County, Beth El Norwalk, and Temple Shalom Norwalk for a separate viewing to be held at AMC Norwalk on Tuesday, April 8.
