Celebrate the beauty of national parks as filmmaker Brendan Hall presents a screening of his award-winning feature documentary Out There: A National Parks Story, following a 10,000 mile road trip through the U.S. national parks with his childhood friend, telling stories of the incredible people they meet along the way. Between spectacular visuals of the parks and compelling interviews are colorful bits of old maps, posters, and travelogues. This stunning road trip is a tribute to the national parks and their history, and is also a recognition of the people that appreciate them and work to maintain their beauty.
A Q&A session with Hall will follow the screening.
This event is presented in partnership with Earthplace, Sustainable Westport, and Sustainable Fairfield.
