Reading and Rhythm with Orchestra Lumos and Music Together
Singing, dancing, live instruments, and a great story — all before noon.
Reading and Rhythm is a partnership between The Westport Library, Orchestra Lumos (formerly the Stamford Symphony), and Music Together. Together they offer an interactive, joyful introduction to a live orchestra, complete with singing, dancing, and instrument play that's perfectly suited for children ages 0-10 and their grown-ups. The program wraps up with a musical storybook performance.
Instruments will be distributed to participants, so families will sit together on the open floor of the Forum. This is a lively, participatory experience, come ready to move.
The program runs approximately 50 minutes and is free. Registration is required.
Please note: recording of the performance is not permitted.
