Sewing With Machines

Wednesdays, October 8, 15, 22 & 29, 7-8:30 pm
McCall Room (Room 216)
This is a cumulative program and participants are requested to attend all four days.
Registration required. Limited to 8 students in seventh grade and up — Adults also welcome!
Learn basic sewing machines techniques in each session with a simple projects including a stuffed animal, a drawstring backpack, a pillow, or a pencil/ tool roll pouch. Use these techniques to make your own Halloween costume!
Workshops conducted by freelance theatrical costumer C. Delari Johnston. Use one of three sewing machines provided by the Library OR bring your own.
This is a free program for those who attend. Because we are able to admit only a limited number of students, you will be charged $25 upon registration. A full refund will be issued upon attendance or notification of inability to attend sent to [email protected] by Tuesday, October 1, and we can fill your spot.
