The Westport Library is delighted to welcome back the SHORT CUTS Film Festival for its final program of 2022. Curated from the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, SHORT CUTS presents award-winning narrative, documentary, and animated shorts, followed by a post-film conversation.
On Thursday, December 8, at 7 pm, the festival concludes with a bold combination of comic and dramatic narrative films:
- Pragma (UK)
- Hallelujah (USA)
- Lilith & Eve (UK, animated)
- F^¢K '€M R!GHT B@¢K (USA)
- Life Rendered (USA)
Director Harris Doran (F^¢K '€M R!GHT B@¢K) will join live in conversation after the films. Harris shares: "I feel that often the best way of communicating challenging topics is through comedy. And that’s what this film aims to do: hold a mirror up to the systems set up to keep you down — and have fun while doing it."
