The Westport Library is delighted to welcome back the 2022 SHORT CUTS Film Festival. Now in its 12th season, SHORT CUTS is curated from the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Award-winning narrative, documentary, and animated shorts will be screened, followed by a post-film conversation between one of the films’ directors and the festival producer.
The SHORT CUTS Film Festival will kick off Thursday, October 27, at 7 pm in The Westport Library’s Trefz Forum with five narrative films:
Coming Out with the Help of a Time Machine (USA)
Five-O (France)
Pete (USA, animated)
Night Ride (Norway), Winner, Best Narrative Short, Tribeca
Sparring Partner (USA)
Director JJ Kandel (Sparring Partner) will join live in conversation after the films.

SHORT CUTS continues on Thursday, November 17, with an all-documentary program, followed by a second program of narrative shorts on Thursday, December 8.
