About the Speakers
Deanne Mraz, MD, FAAD is a fellowship-trained, board-certified dermatologist based in Connecticut. She is the president and co-founder of Modern Dermatology of Connecticut in addition to founder of DMR Research, a cutting edge aesthetic-based research institution. The former CMO of an international aesthetic chain, Dr. Mraz is an authoritative voice in aesthetics, who is intimately involved not only with clinical research, but also speaks on a global level, is on faculty at Yale New Haven Hospital Department of Dermatology, and is published in popular and peer reviewed press and journals. Dr. Mraz received her BAS and MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and then went on to complete her dermatology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident and Director for the Yale Resident Cosmetic Clinic. Following her time at Yale-New Haven, she completed a fellowship in cosmetic and laser surgery.
Rhonda Q. Klein, MD, MPH, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist with award-winning experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is a local Westport mom to five children and a native of Fairfield County. Dr. Rhonda Klein earned her BAS in bioengineering and MD with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, and her MPH from Columbia University. She completed her medical internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center and her Dermatology Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Marc Beuttler, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist providing comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic care for patients of all ages. Marc grew up in a family of physicians in Southern California and now calls Greenwich home, where he lives with his husband, Matt. Dr. Marc Beuttler is a Board Certified Dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and clinical instructor of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine. After graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, Dr. Beuttler received his MA in Medical Ethics at NYU and continued on to medical school at Louisiana State University.
Dr. Shayan Cheraghlou, MD, FAAD, is a Mohs surgeon, medical and cosmetic dermatologist, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with dual board certifications in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery and fellowship certification in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Cheraghlou graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania before receiving his MD from the Yale School of Medicine, graduating with the Miriam Kathleen Dasey graduation award. He went on to complete his dermatology training at the Ronald O Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU, serving as chief resident and graduating with the Lipkin award for clinical and scholarly excellence, and the Husik award for best research. He then completed his fellowship training at Zitelli & Brodland Skin Cancer Center, the top Mohs micrographic fellowship in the country.
