In partnership with The College Essay Guy, The Westport Library and Staples High School Counseling Department are excited to offer a chance to get a head start on college applications in this three-day free application and essay workshop series for rising seniors.
On the first two afternoons of this series, students will participate in an interactive essay workshop led by one of The College Essay Guy’s expert facilitators. Following a short break, school counselors will assist students with their college applications, including the Common App and other application platforms. Students who are not able to attend in person have the option to participate virtually in the essay portion of the workshop.
For the last session, students will participate in an entirely virtual interactive workshop led by one of The College Essay Guy’s expert facilitators. This evening workshop will focus on understanding and developing strong supplemental essays.
Please note that this workshop series spans three days, with different material covered each day. Students are encouraged to attend all three days, but are welcome to attend as many as they are able to.
