Take Your Child to the Library Day!

Share the magic of the library as we celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day! Spend time together exploring favorite spaces, browsing the shelves, and enjoying a quiet moment of reading side by side.
Kids and their families are invited to start the day with lots of movement, songs, and a story at our Itty Bittys program in the Komansky Room. Then take part in a few simple, self-guided activities throughout the day — plus enjoy a small takeaway to commemorate the occasion. Children who register for our Winter Reading Program, or who are already signed up, are also invited to stop by and choose a book to read or a book to write from our prize cart!
Activities available throughout the day include:
- Make a bookmark station
- DIY Photo Booth — submit your photos here to be featured in our newsletter!
- Scavenger hunt (win stickers!)
Whether it’s your very first visit or your hundredth, this is a wonderful opportunity to make memories and celebrate the joy of reading with your child.
