The Enchanted Garden - A Dance 4All Abilities Sensory Friendly Performance

Join us for a special performance of The Enchanted Garden, a sensory friendly performance which blends storytelling and dance. Be transported to a magical colorful world inside an enchanted garden that exists because the child within us never disappears!

The performance will include dancers from Connecticut Dance School, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, in collaboration with WeRise: Storytelling Collective. This Sensory Friendly Performance will feature dancers from our Dance 4All Abilities Program and our Lower School, bringing together dancers from age five to twenty-three, to express and engage themselves with dance.

Connecticut Dance School was founded in 1970 as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing dance education of the highest standard to the Connecticut community. We educate aspiring dancers, instill an appreciation of the performing arts and nurture every child regardless of background or ability.

Dance 4All Abilities is an adaptive dance program for children facing various challenges. The program provides a fun, small group dance class using creative movement principles with modified ballet technique. Allowing dancers with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome and physical disabilities to engage, explore and express themselves in dance. Our classes are taught by Connecticut Dance School trained faculty, and supported by licensed physical therapists, special education teachers with peer mentors.
