Among the most common investment and retirement options are mutual funds and annuities. Big investment firms and insurance companies love to sell them both. Why? Because they’re loaded with fees that are good for their bottom lines. But the best part for said companies is that it is very difficult for the individual to understand what those fees and other pitfalls are and where they might find better alternatives.
In this program, 26-year industry veteran and Founder and CEO of Metric Financial, Tim Baker, CFA will give a layperson’s explanation of how mutual funds and annuities work and how the industry has ignored some potentially better alternatives. We look forward to seeing you and encourage you to bring your own questions!
