The Westport Book Shop and The Westport Library Present: Lauren Tarshis
The Westport Book Shop and The Westport Library invite you to join a presentation and book signing by local children's author Lauren Tarshis, author of the I Survived series!
When: Saturday, November 5, at 3:30 pm (rescheduled from October 1)
Where: The Westport Library, Trefz Forum
Lauren will talk about her newest books in the I Survived series: The Wellington Avalanche, 1910 and her graphic novel Hurricane Katrina, 2005.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Lauren is the author of the New York Times bestselling I Survived series, which tells stories of young people and their resilience and strength in the midst of unimaginable disasters. Lauren has brought her signature warmth and exhaustive research to topics such as the September 11 attacks, the destruction of Pompeii, Hurricane Katrina, and the bombing of Pearl Harbor, among others.
