The Westport Library Big Fall Book Sale 2025

The Big Fall Book Sale offers something for everyone, with thousands of gently used books in more than 50 categories, including books for children from infants to teens; literature and classics; fiction, mystery, and SciFi and fantasy; graphic novels and manga; art, photography, history, math, science, psychology, religion, biography, business, cooking, gardening, performing arts, travel, foreign language, education, reference, and more, including Noteworthy, especially antiquarian books. Plus vintage vinyl records, DVDs and CDs.

The book sale hours, with free admission, are as follows:

Friday, December 5: 12-6 pm*
Saturday, December 6: 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday, December 7: 11 am - 5 pm (almost everything half-price)
Monday, December 8: 9 am - 4 pm (shoppers can fill our logo bag for $10 per bag, or their own equivalent-sized bag for $8, or buy individual books at half-price)

*On Friday morning, December 5, from 8:45 am to 12 pm, the Book Sale will be open only to patrons who purchase an Early Access ticket in advance. Early Access tickets are available for purchase here. For more information, visit the Big Fall Book Sale website.

• A diverse offering of framed artworks, from small desk-friendly pieces to striking large-format works for the home or office.
• A dedicated $1 Fiction Room filled with thousands of titles — hardcover fiction, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, young adult books, and paperbacks — all priced at just $1 each and these books stay $1 on half price Sunday.

Please note: To accommodate the work for the Book Sale, the Book Donation Center will be CLOSED from Monday, November 17, through Thursday December 11, re-opening on Friday, December 12.
