Tidal River Fund + StartUp Westport Forum: Female Founders and Investors
Startup Westport and The Westport Library are pleased to host a forum on female entrepreneurship with Tidal River Fund, the first angel group and fund for women investors in Connecticut.
A meet-and-greet cocktail reception begins at 6:30 pm. Program begins at 7 pm.
The forum will be led by Galia Gichon, co-managing partner, Tidal River Fund, and will include conversations with female founders and investors who will share their experiences with fundraising for, investing in, and launching early stage starts-ups.
About Galia Gichon: Gichon is a leading investor and an independent personal financial expert with more than 20 years in financial services, including nearly 10 years on Wall Street and an MBA in Finance (Fordham University) and BS in Finance (University of Florida). She has been quoted in Newsweek, CNN, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal.com, NY1, Good Housekeeping, Self, Essence, Glamour, MSN Money, and much more.
