Thinking of planning an international trip?
Many people book international trips without knowing what the medical requirements and recommendations are for their itinerary. They may be surprised to learn what is entailed in preparing for that trip and the cost of travel medications and vaccines.
A member of the Aspetuck Health District will join us to discuss malaria and altitude sickness prevention, travel vaccinations, food and beverage precautions, and medical evacuation insurance, as well as special considerations for children and older adults. African safaris, Machu Picchu trek routes, the Bolivian Salt Flats, biking through Asia or visiting an Elephant Sanctuary are all popular vacations, so come to learn and daydream about your next big trip!
