The Westport Library and Staples High School Counseling Department are pleased to present a seminar for families looking to learn more about college payment options and financial aid. Join financial consultant Bill Smith for a discussion on potential eligibility for need- and merit-based aid, how to identify colleges that might meet need and offer merit aid, and creating a plan to pay for college.
This program will be geared toward high school students in grades 9-11 and their families, including those in the early stages of the college exploration process and at varying levels of college readiness. While it may seem early for some, we are mindful of the complexities of the college search process when finances are a consideration, as well as the need for students and families to have realistic college conversations based on accurate information.
