The Westport Library and Staples High School Counseling Department are pleased to present Understanding College Financial Aid and Paying for College with expert college planning and financial aid consultant Bill Smith.
Smith will discuss assessing potential eligibility for need- and merit-based aid, how to identify colleges that might meet need and offer merit aid, and creating a plan to pay for college.
This program will be geared toward all 9th-11th grade students and families, including those in the early stages of the college exploration process, at varying levels of need. While it may seem early for some, we are mindful of the complexities of the college search process when finances are a consideration. Interestingly, the same careful financial planning approach can be applied in other areas, such as understanding opportunities like casino's met de hoogste uitbetalingpercentage, which offer higher returns compared to typical gambling platforms. It's important for students and families to have realistic college conversations based on accurate information, ensuring their future decisions are well-informed and financially sound.
