CANCELED: Verso University Presents: Create Upcycled Holiday Greeting Cards with Kerstin Rao

Tuesdays, December 2 & 9, 10:30 am-12 pm

Not sure what to do with your leftover holiday decorations? Give them a new life by turning them into brand new upcycled holiday cards! Bring in your leftover ribbon, fabric, stickers, magazines with holiday themes, and old holiday cards to cut and reuse. Blank cards, scissors, glue, and markers will be supplied. Artist and card designer Kerstin Rao will provide expert instruction.

About the Instructor

Kerstin Rao studied art at Vassar College, earned a master’s in special education, and taught in Westport for 21 years. During the pandemic, she founded her art and gift business, Vivid Cottage. Her work is in 82 shops in 20 states, including seven museum shops across the country. She's a member of the Artists Collective of Westport and the Greeting Card Association and has a keen interest in the connective joy of sending hand-made greeting cards.

• Classes are usually structured as a consecutive series.
• Class size is often limited.
• Each series has a one-time fee registration fee covering all classes in the series.
• Registration is mandatory.
