Verso University Presents: Holiday Floral Arranging: Thanksgiving Harvest

Course Details
Whether it’s your first time hosting Thanksgiving or you’ve been hosting for years, you're invited to join master florist Trish O’Sullivan as she creates a Thanksgiving centerpiece with a stunning vision of nature’s fall harvest: heirloom chrysanthemums, Chinese lanterns, celosia, herbs, mini pumpkins, lady apples, and vines. Discover how to curate floral materials for a refined eclectic tabletop of flowers and botanical textures, as well as tips and tricks for long-lasting and vibrant floral styling without chemicals or floral foam. The presentation and demonstration of simple floral design techniques and step-by-step instructions will ensure DIY success.
About the Instructor
As one of New York City’s foremost names in floral design for the past 35 years, master florist, Emmy award winner, and eco-friendly floral designer Trish O’Sullivan brings her floral vision, attention to detail, exuberant love of flowers, and extensive floral knowledge to the classes and workshops she teaches. Her presentation skills have enthralled and instructed hundreds of students, garden club members, and public audiences.
As the former director of the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) floral design program, she currently teaches master floral design classes at NYBG and at other locations throughout the New York metropolitan area. Among other accolades, Trish created living walls for the Emmy award-winning set of The Nate Berkus Show and evocative floral designs for the set of The Dr. Oz Show. Her floral signature is an artful blending of old world masters and contemporary concepts, wild meadows and refined English gardens.
