Verso University: Technology Lunch & Learn: AI for Small Business (December)

Friday, December 11, 12 pm - 1 pm | Location: Komansky Room | Registration Fee: FREE | Limited to 35 participants
Course Details
What if AI didn’t just answer your questions, but actually did the work?
Building on AI 101, this session, AI 102: Next Steps, moves from chatting with AI to putting it to work in your business. You’ll see how automation tools connect the apps you already use, including email, calendar, CRM, and accounting, so routine tasks like follow-ups, data entry, and appointment reminders happen without you. We’ll then introduce AI agents, the “digital employees” that can answer phones, qualify leads, schedule meetings, and handle customer questions around the clock, and talk honestly about what they’re ready for today and where a human still needs to be in the loop.
We’ll also cover the security side: how to keep sensitive data out of the wrong tools, set a simple AI use policy for your team, and recognize the AI-powered phishing, voice cloning, and deepfake scams now targeting small businesses.
Attending Session 1 on November 13 is helpful but not required. Bring your lunch and a task you wish you never had to do again.
Join us on November 13 for AI 101: Getting Started to learn prompt engineering, frameworks, and model selection.
