Verso University: The Art of (Holiday) Floral Arranging

Monday, December 14 | 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm | Komansky Room | Registration Fee: $75 | Limited to 15 participants

About This Course

Celebrate the season with flowers.

Join Michele Sinacore of Westport’s Blossom + Stem Floral Design for a festive, hands-on workshop in holiday flower arranging. You’ll learn simple floral design techniques and pro tips for working with seasonal materials — then put them to use creating a beautiful fresh flower centerpiece using premium seasonal blooms, winter greens, and other natural elements.

No experience necessary. Just come ready to have fun and get creative. Each participant leaves with their own arrangement to display at home, bring to the holiday table, or give as a gift — and with the skills to refresh and replicate it on your own.

All flowers and materials are provided, including a vase and flower pruners.

About the Instructor

Michele Sinacore is a professional floral designer, event planner, and Westport resident who founded Blossom + Stem Floral Design in 2020. The studio creates custom floral designs for events, everyday arrangements, and gifting, and offers hands-on workshops. Flowers for the Library workshop are selected to reflect the colors and character of the holiday season — and whenever possible, Michele sources locally and works with seasonal color palettes to create distinctive, one-of-a-kind designs.
