Verso University: The Art of the Print: Center for Contemporary Printmaking: Art & Culture Excursion

Monday, December 7 | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm | Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Mathews Park, 299 West Ave, Norwalk, CT | Registration Fee: $5 | Limited to 20 participants
About This Course
Verso University heads off-campus for a special visit to the Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CCP) in Norwalk — the only nonprofit fine art printmaking facility of its kind between New York and Boston.
The afternoon begins with a guided tour of CCP’s current exhibitions, including Natasha Karpinskaia: 100 Coats, featuring original prints by CCP Artist Members — among them Westport residents and local neighbors. Then stay for a live printmaking demonstration led by a CCP staff printer, offering a close-up look at the historic process of stone lithography and the artistry and craftsmanship behind original fine art prints.
Patrons must provide their own transportation. Please plan to meet in the gallery at 12:55 pm.
