Verso University: Vibe Coding: Build a Website Using AI
Course Details
Dates: Thursday, July 9, 16, 23 & 30
Time: 6:30-8 pm
Location: Room 210
This course teaches adults with some programming familiarity how to build a real, professional-looking website using Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. Students work through a curated project idea of their choosing across four 90-minute sessions, progressing from a browser-based prototype all the way to a fully functional local website — with the option to deploy it live on the internet in the final session.
Each session opens with a short conceptual segment to build understanding of the technology, followed by hands-on building time. Students leave every session with tangible results.

Instructor Bio
Kyle Pause has spent more than 30 years building software and leading the people who build it. He started as a hands-on engineer writing C++ and has since led large, globally distributed research, development, and cloud operations teams at companies including Aprisma, CA Technologies, Pitney Bowes, and Precisely. He holds a B.S. in Computational Mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is the co-inventor of a patented network management technology. For the past three years at Precisely, Kyle has led the research and development teams behind Automate Evolve, an SAP process automation platform, and EnterWorks, an enterprise master data management solution. His focus there has been strengthening their cloud offerings, bringing AI into both the development process and the products themselves, and improving the experience customers have with the software and the support behind it.
