Introducing Walk Like a Librarian — a book club for people who'd rather turn pages with their feet than their fingers. No assigned reading. No discussion questions. No pressure. Just you, your current audiobook (or podcast, or playlist, or blissful silence), and a good walk with good company
How it works: Listen to whatever you want, however you want — that audiobook you've been meaning to finish, a podcast, music, or nothing at all. Then show up and walk it off with us.
Don't have anything queued up? No problem — and no need to buy anything, either. With your Westport Library card, Hoopla and Libby let you download audiobooks for free, right to your phone. Load up before you head out the door.
When: Every third Thursday, 5:00 PM (weather permitting) — starting Thursday, July 16
Where: Meet at the Westport Library Upper Parking Lot Door (the Levitt entrance)
Route: Down Imperial Avenue and back. The total walk is approximately 2.6 miles long, and you can turn back at any time.
Get your steps in, clear your head, and connect with fellow readers — all without ever having to finish the book on time.
All paces, all genres, all welcome. No registration required, just drop in!
