On Monday, February 20, watch his interview with the indefatigable Sal Gilbertie. Sal Gilbertie is the third-generation proprietor of Gilbertie's Organics located in Westport and Easton, Connecticut.

Established in 1922 by Sal's grandfather, Antonio, Gilbertie's Organics is the largest herb grower and supplier in the United States. Sal has been at the forefront of the organic gardening movement for more than 50 years. He is the author of eight books, and has appeared on multiple local television and cable channels, the Martha Stewart Show and numerous radio interviews. He has received dozens of awards and salutations, including the 2011 Connecticut Organic Farmer of the Year, and a 2022 Horticulture Commendation from the Garden Club of America. Sal is married to Marie, his wife of more than 60 years, and they have four children, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
