Westport’s own Dan Woog brings his popular blog “06880: Where Westport Meets the World” to life, via the Verso Studios at the Westport Library – recorded LIVE in the Trefz Forum!
On Monday, October 17th at noon hear Dan's conversation with two of Westport's stellar woman, Sharuna Mahesh and Stacie Curran (Pictured below, left to right). Each have been highly active in the community in a myriad of impactful ways and have raised their children in town. Both are strong and active advocate for the educational, recreational, and general living needs for children and adults with disabilities.

Sharuna has been a resident of Westport since 2004. Having served on Westport’s Special Education PTA as chairperson, she is also one of the co-founder's and current Vice President of Westport Book Sale Ventures that has a mission to providing meaningful competitive employment and volunteer opportunities for adults with disabilities, through the operation of used book sales and related activities. She is also a founder, along with Stacie of Club203, under the direction of the Westport Human Services Department.
Stacie has spent much of her life in Westport, not only raising her 4 children but attended Westport Public Schools from Burr Farms Elementary through graduating form Staples High School. Currently, Stacie serves on the Westport PTA Health & Wellness Committee, the town's Commission on People with Disabilities, is a co-founder and board member of the Remarkable Theater - Founder, and Club203.
