Vasili Grew up in Westport and has lived in town his entire life, and attended public school here from elementary to high school. A 2012 Staples High School graduate, he was a member of the varsity football & basketball teams. Vasili went on to attend the University of Connecticut in Storrs, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business Management.
After college graduation, Vasili spent his first professional years working at a hotel management firm based out of Norwalk. But, having grown up in the restaurant business, he knew it was an industry he wanted to be involved with so joined the Hillstone Restaurant Group as a Manager In Training. He then spent several years with Hillstone managing restaurants in Bethesda, New Jersey, New York City & California.
In February 2020, Vasili made the move back to Connecticut to work for the Sherwood Diner. Living locally in Stamford, he uses his free time to enjoy and check out the dynamic dining out scene in Fairfield County, with plans to continue to bring hospitality services to the region.
