The World Cube Association governs competitions for mechanical puzzles that are operated by twisting groups of pieces, commonly known as "twisty puzzles." The most famous of these puzzles is the Rubik's Cube, invented by Professor Rubik from Hungary.
The WCA has had more than 100,000 unique competitors in locales across 140 different countries — and this summer The Westport Library is excited to be one of them!
Please join us to cheer on competitors at our WCA-sponsored event! The competition will take place all day at the Library, and spectators are invited to drop-in throughout the day.
*Please note: Competitor registration is closed, but there will be a special Rubik's Cube workshop held Sunday, July 16, from 2-4 pm that is open to puzzlers 10 and over. Click here for more information and to register.
