Join us for Platform to Employment (P2E) with communications marketer Anne Leskow. This program begins by addressing the social, emotional, and skill deficiencies caused by long-term unemployment. Thereafter, P2E helps participants find open positions at local companies for a trial work experience, with their salaries funded by The WorkPlace. This is a paid opportunity for P2E participants to demonstrate they can do the job while employers evaluate their work.
These Tuesday sessions, organized and ran by Westport Library Career Coach Tarin Evans, offer a blend of career development workshops and professional networking opportunities designed to enhance your job search and career growth. Each week, we’ll offer a focused workshop on a specific career topic. These workshops cover various aspects of job searching, professional development, and skill-building, including goal setting, salary negotiation, interview strategies, and utilizing technology in the job market. These sessions are interactive and provide actionable advice.
