Join plant-based chef and author Chrissy Tracey and Yard To Table podcasters Trevor Crafts and Ellen Scherer Crafts for a fun foraging walk at Earthplace. Discover nourishing foods growing right outside your door and learn how to transform them into everyday delicious meals with the guidance of an experienced forager — plus, you'll get to learn all about Tracey's debut cookbook Forage and Feast. Nature's pantry is calling!

In Forage & Feast, experienced forager and chef Chrissy Tracey takes you on a journey to discover and collect plants and fungi. Use the identification guides and nature photographs to help you forage, then cook your way through fall, winter, spring, and summer with recipes featuring the wild ingredients. No matter where you live, you’ll be able to find recipe inspiration and universally useful foraging advice. From urban magnolia blooms and easy-to-find dandelions to golden chanterelles and sweet pawpaws, Tracey shows you how to transform nature’s treasures into vegan recipes everyone will love.Interwoven with stories from Tracey’s own foraging and culinary experiences and accompanied by lush photography, Forage & Feast is the perfect introduction to finding food in the natural world and turning it into something both beautiful and tasty.

Chrissy Tracey is a first-generation Jamaican American vegan chef, artist, forager, YouTuber, and entrepreneur in the food and wellness space. She is the first vegan chef to be featured on Bon Appétit’s Test Kitchen YouTube series, as well as in their magazine. Her recipes and work have been featured in Epicurious, Farm Sanctuary Magazine, Veg News, Wall Street Journal, Cherry Bombe, and more. She has also been showcased on the Bon Appétit Food People podcast and NPR’s Seasoned. Tracey was listed in Connecticut Magazine‘s 40 Under 40 and made a name for herself while working as a vegan pizza chef in New Haven. Through her brand Eatwithchrissy, she specializes in curating unique culinary events across the US.

Hosted by Emmy Award winners Trevor Crafts and Ellen Scherer Crafts, Yard to Table introduces listeners to the couple's passion for cultivating a delicious life, one yard at a time.
