May Threepio: Star Wars Day - Lightsaber Training
Learn about the ways of the Force and how to wield a lightsaber from real Jedi Masters. At the conclusion of the program, you will be given the rank of "Padawan"!
Participants must currently be in first grade or older. Registration is required to participate in this activity.
There will be 3 sessions in the Trefz Forum, each about 30-45 minutes each: 11 am, 1 pm & 2 pm
Lightsaber Training is a part of May Threepio: Star Wars Day, offering other fun activities including crafts, free comics (May 3 is also Free Comic Book Day!), prizes for costume wearers, and more! While registration is required for Lightsaber Training, feel from to drop in on any of our other offerings from 11-3 with the whole family.
Kessel Temple is the Connecticut chapter of Saber Guild, an international Star Wars lightsaber performance organization. Saber Guild is an Lucasfilm-recognized, not-for-profit fan group that performs at conventions, charity events, and official Star Wars events in our local communities and around the world.
