The Staples High School SciMentors Club, a mentor program to link high school and younger students interested in science and medicine, will be hosting their annual SPRKS (Students Pursuing Real-world Knowledge of Science) fair.
Elementary and middle school students and their families are invited to attend and learn more about science and medical fields from students and medical professionals. There will be opportunities for children to learn and partake in a scavenger hunt for prizes. The club members will be honored to see you!
SciMentors aims to create a support system to mentor younger students and pull in local professionals to bring first-hand experience to these members. The goal of the group is to create a community for students interested in similar paths to enhance their course selection, utilize the local medical world, and see how they can use resources to begin their journey.
