Wednesday, February 18 -Thursday February 19

11:30 am-1:00 pm Grades 3-5

Classes are limited to 15 students. Registration is required.

For thousands of years, Indigenous communities in North America have been using various fibers to make and decorate everything from shelter, to fishing equipment, to clothing and works of art. Join an expert educator from the Institute for American Indian Studies to learn more about Native American history and culture while you make your very own woven projects out of natural materials.

This is a cumulative program; participants are requested to attend both days.

This session is for Grades 3-5. Click here for the Grades K-2 session.

This is a free program for those who attend. Because of the limited number of students, you will be charged $25 upon registration. Your deposit will be refunded less credit card processing fees upon attendance OR notification of inability to attend sent to [email protected] a week before the program starts AND IF we can fill your spot.

Registration is NOT transferable. A caregiver must remain in the library during the class.

Questions? Contact Margaret Pastel at [email protected].
