Westport Means Business: Lessons Learned

January 9, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Westport business owners, who are also local residents, will share their stories about running a business and taking risks in a moderated panel discussion. A networking reception at 6:30 pm precedes the discussion. Westport Second Selectwoman Jen Tooker will moderate. The panelists are Amy Hochhauser (Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer of JoyRide), Becky Cerroni (CEO and co-owner of JoyRide), Bill Taibe (Executive Chef/Owner of The Whelk, Kawa Ni and Jesup Hall) and Marria Pooya (Founder and CEO of Greenwich Medical Spa). (Pictured left to right below) They will talk about their mistakes, how they worked through them, and advice they would give. Register online.

This discussion series was started to create an environment for local business owners to share with, learn from and provide support to each other. Our local business community is amazing! We are focused on connections, not competition. Let's promote Westport as the best community to start and grow a successful business!

Co-sponsored by The Westport Library and the Town of Westport.
