Westport’s own Dan Woog brings his popular blog “06880: Where Westport Meets the World” to life, via the Verso Studios at the Westport Library – recorded LIVE in the Trefz Forum! On Monday, March 6, watch his interview with Westport resident and Award winning singer-songwriter, Sophie B. Hawkins.

Sophie was nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy in 1992, and has earned platinum and gold record status for a number of her music releases in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Australia. She has lent her voice and in-person efforts to organizations working for the environment, animal rights, children’s issues, Get Out the Vote efforts, and LGBTQ equality.
