Y's Men Classical Music Society: Music, the Soundtrack of Our Lives
Y’s Men’s John Brandt presents “Music, the Soundtrack of Our Lives,” a video-illustrated presentation on the marriage of music and dance on-stage and in film.
Music is everywhere. It underscores our daily lives and gives shape to the arts from classical symphonies to rap to theater of every description. Hardly a moment passes that music isn’t part of our world.
Y’s Man, dancer, singer, actor and public relations consultant, John has spent his life as a fan of music in all of its forms and in all of its venues. From the concert hall, to iconic stage productions, to memorable films, his illustrated talk at The Westport Library will connect the dots and welcome the audience to his view of music as “The Soundtrack of Our Lives.”
