Dr. Mary Evelyn Tucker will discuss how to inspire people to preserve, protect and restore the Earth community. As co-founder of the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology, Dr. Tucker seeks to identify different perspectives among the religions of the world to find comprehensive and collaborative solutions to our global environmental crisis in partnership with scientists and policy makers.

The Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce and The Westport Library delivered a candidate forum focused on three races: state senate and two state representatives districts. The debate featured Toni Boucher and Ceci Maher vying for the state senate in District 26, Jonathan Steinberg and Alma Sarelli for representative of the 136th district, and Nicole Hampton and Dominique Johnson for the 143rd representative district, and was moderated by Matthew Mandell, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce.
