Renowned photographer Stephen Wilkes shared his work in a presentation called “Visualizing Time," joined in conversation by Westport's own Stacy Bass. In the presentation, Wilkes showed how his photographs explore the concept of time, beginning with his early work and leading to his documenting of locations that are part of our collective memory in his iconic Day to Night series.

The Fader-Gendron-Haas Trio performed an afternoon concert on August 7th in the Library's Trefz Forum, The program included Brahms Piano Trio no. 3 op. 101 and Mendelssohn Piano Trio no. 2 op. 66. Both trios are in the key of C minor, and offer the full range of human emotion, from fury and passion, to tenderness, mischief and religious exaltation.
