Join Certified Sommelier, Barbie Messa, as she explores Iberian Wine, including mainland Spain, Portugal, and their surrounding islands. We'll discuss the most famous classic regions, such as Rioja and Porto, and up-and-coming areas like the Canary Islands. After learning about these regions' history, geography, and grapes, we will have the opportunity to taste three wines in the final class. This class will meet on Wednesday, June 5-July 3, from 1:30-3 pm (Note, class will not meet on June 19th in honor of the Juneteenth holiday when The Library will be closed). The class will meet in the Brooks Program Room, located on the main level, around the corner from the Library shop.

Early and more practiced readers can come to the children's library to read with a buddy from Staples High School. Please remain in the Children's Library while your child is reading with their buddy.
A 2-day class that builds from Tuesday which centers around a blend of inquiry, design, research, writing and the arts to the Wednesday class which will focus on math, science and revision, testing and technology, with students creating a physical representation of their learning.
Children of all abilities are welcome in this sensory-friendly program that will have story, rhymes, and activities. Registration preferred.
