SHORT CUTS Film Festival, Part Two: Documentary Shorts

The SHORT CUTS Film Festival is back!
Curated from the prestigious Tribeca Festival in NYC, Fairfield County’s own SHORT CUTS Festival screens award-winning narrative, documentary, and animated short films, followed by a conversation between one of the films’ creative team and the festival producer.
Join us on Thursday, December 14, at 7 pm in The Westport Library’s Trefz Forum for a series of four documentary films, including an uplifting story of two elderly women competing in the National Senior Games (Team Dream), Nigerian ballet dancers who find their way to the U.S. (Then Comes the Body), and more! Special guest: Team Dream director and writer Luchina Fisher.
Featured films:
- Team Dream (U.S.) by Luchina Fisher
- Then Comes the Body (Nigeria, U.S.) by Jacob Krupnick
- In Her Element by Idil Ibrahim (U.S.)
- Deciding Vote (U.S.) by Jeremy Workman & Robert J. Lyons
